Gabriela Salazar was born in 1981, in New York City. She graduated from Yale University in 2003 (BA), and Rhode Island School of Design in 2009 (MFA). As well as an artist, she is also a curator, teacher, and writer.
She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
